New to Butchertown with everything that makes a bar great
Gold Bar is a Butchertown neighborhood bar that opened in July of 2020. We all know opening during a global pandemic is not an easy task, but Gold Bar has done everything right to succeed. After taking over the old Butchertown Social space, this bar’s main focus is to provide the best experience in Butchertown, led by great bartenders. Their beverage director, Eron Plevan, believes people go to bars for the bartenders, not the bar. You can attest to this when you not only try one of their amazing cocktails, but also get the personable experience they deliver to all customers.
This bar is open 7 days a week and invites you to join them for weekly events such as Industry Night Mondays, Tequila Tuesdays, Whiskey Wednesdays, Fernet Fridays, and Brunch Sundays. On weekends they showcase local DJs and dance parties to keep your weekend alive! They also have seven screens where you can catch games through the year that range from NBA, NFL, College Sports, and of course, LouCity FC soccer games (keep reading for an upcoming official watch party)! The Grub
Their amazing kitchen offers the best bar food options in town. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! Made with high quality ingredients, you can try an array of items from Jalapeno Poppers to The Gold Lobster Roll to their Gold Wings. At Gold Bar, you experience more than just the average pub grub. They also include a full vegan menu with dozens of options to meet everyone’s needs.
The Drink
Every day from 5-7pm join them for Gold Rush Happy Hour featuring $1 off draft beer and $1 off their award-winning “After the Gold Rush” cocktail. This famous cocktail is made with Four Roses Bourbon, salted orange blossom honey syrup, super lemon, and sima (golden raisin fermented lemonade). A true masterpiece. LouCity Watch Party
On June 19, 2021 LouCity will be traveling for an away game and taking on FC Tulsa at 8:00pm. I know, you’re upset about missing the game… But do not fret!
